Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teens she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela has said that her vocals as crisp and sweet but with a little bite. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and eventually winning a Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released in 2022 because of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time on the program. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
