Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American model, host of a TV show and comedian. Regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is regarded as being among the most experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved when she contracted an infection with septicae and eventually suffered numerous organ failure. The rest of her life was a new routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. After nearly 80 days in the hospital, from near-death to long road to recovery, she finally returned home, but her life forever changed. Angelica had been being on dialysis for the past year and a half before finally being able to undergo the most important surgery of her entire existence, a kidney transplant. Her mother would be the donor. Angelica as well as her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two incredible hospitals situated right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person from the beginning.
