The rest of her life was a new routine of hemodialysis followed by peritoneal dilution. After nearly 80 days in the hospital, from near-death to long road to recovery, she finally returned home, but her life forever changed. Angelica had been being on dialysis for the past year and a half before finally being able to undergo the most important surgery of her entire existence, a kidney transplant. Her mother would be the donor. Angelica as well as her mother, went through a successfully kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two incredible hospitals situated right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person from the beginning.
