Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, boleros from the past, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is passionate about tangos and opera, along with any dramatic performance. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. Her early professional career saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she moved to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in classical Latin American music at private events. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing keep her engaged in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates the opportunity to share her passion and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
